I use acrylic paint, inks and collage to create representational and semi-abstract pieces, mainly landscape and still life. Colour-filled dreamscapes may be derived from real places or present imagined scenes depicting an ethereal world. Through positivity and inventive use of colour, texture and imagery I hope to draw and hold the viewer's gaze, perhaps evoking a thought, memory, mood or emotion.

I'm currently working on a series of mixed media paintings inspired by Worcester's canal side and marina. These range from moody and atmospheric to bright and full of vibrant colour. I'm aiming to have several of this series on display in August.
At the start of 2023 I resolved to 'paint bigger' and there will be some quite large pieces on display compared with last year!
