We are a volunteer-run, non-profit organisation championing artists and makers across Worcestershire. We host the online Worcestershire Artists & Makers Directory and Worcestershire Open Studios Art Week – a 10-day August event where studios and creative spaces open their doors, inviting visitors to meet artists & makers, discover how and why art is made, be inspired and buy art direct from the people who created it.
Following our biggest event yet in 2025, planning is underway for Art Week 2026 (22–31 August), with artist registration open from 14 February to 25 March and our new Venue Match portal, connecting potential participants with venues and each other, is now live.

Worcestershire Artists and Makers Directory
Worcestershire Open Studios is proud to celebrate and support artists and makers from across our beautiful county during August Art Week but also year round on the website and via other opportunities. Our talented members cover a huge artistic spectrum: discover painters, ceramicists, photographers, jewellers, woodworkers, glass and print makers and sculptors as well as calligraphers, textile artists and more.
Not all members are able to participate in Art Week so please do browse our comprehensive Artist and Maker Directory and enjoy the breadth of talent you’ll find across Worcestershire’s creative community. You can also keep up -to-date about what events and exhibitions they are taking part in here.
Be Inspired, Learn New Creative Skills
Throughout the year, our members offer a variety of courses and workshops across Worcestershire, spanning a wide range of creative disciplines – from watercolour and abstract mark-making to stained glass, ceramics, life drawing, printmaking, jewellery, sculpture, and more. Whether you’re interested in taster courses, weekly classes, or art retreats, you’ll find something to ignite your creative spark.
