Hi, I'm Ella and I like to create a feeling of escapism in my work by blending reality with imagination.

As a mixed media artist, I love to experiment with different materials to build up layers of interest and place my subject in a world of their own.

Mixing portraiture with experimental mark making allows me to create something that feels unique and contemporary.
While this is the focus of a lot of my work, I am inspired by many areas of nature, so you can also expect to see land and seascapes, flowers and animals.
