Hello, I am Jen Janes and have lived most of my life in Worcestershire. Since my earliest years I have loved art and always drawn sketched and painted.
I am captivated by our British countryside and through my art I endeavour to communicate the essence of nature, her rolling hills, fields, rivers, skies; seas, the infinite fluctuations of her colours and moods, differing lights, rhythms seasons and cycles. I use a variety of techniques, eg brushes, fingers, palette knives, old credit cards etc. to apply acrylic paints onto canvas, panels or textured paper.
