I create textile artwork for individuals, the public, and the heritage sector using a range of textile techniques. I combine dyes, paint, and free-motion embroidery using a domestic sewing machine to create detailed, textured artwork. My designs for the public and heritage sector involve using applique, free-motion embroidery, painting, and 3D textiles to create large-scale artwork. I have created wall-hangings and quilts for several Heritage Lottery Funded projects.
I am available for talks, workshops and demonstrations, my specialist subjects are weaving, tapestry, felt-making, free-motion embroidery, and mixed-media printmaking techniques.
