We will start by exploring how to create various brushstrokes, get to grips with graduated tones and practise wet in wet and wet on dry techniques. Then we will progress on to producing a number of finished paintings, in monochrome, to understand tonal values and in colour, as well as line and wash. You will also have to opportunity to learn basic colour mixing from a limited palette.
A basic kit list will be sent out after booking is confirmed.
Students will be required to bring items from the kit list and a packed lunch
I can supply water pots, drawing boards etc
Refreshments and biscuits will be available throughout the day
The Studio/Gallery is a light, airy space which overlooks an extensive garden, despite being in the heart of Worcester.
