I mainly work with green wood (freshly cut) and traditional hand tools. All of the wood is either local coppiced or wild blown and so as sustainable as possible. I started by making rustic furniture, and then moved into making small animal carvings to cheer people up in the pandemic lockdowns, and have continued with these since. The animal carvings are now sold to help fund the new Chapter Meadows nature reserve of which my publishing company 3dtotal Publishing purchased in 2024.
