ABOUT ME
I have been working as a professional calligrapher based in my original brick built Pigsty in Abberley for almost forty years. I love to illustrate my calligraphy and greatly inspired by the butterflies, flowers and nature all around. It is a joy to introduce others to the world of calligraphy.
COMMISSIONS
It is always a great privilege to create a bespoke piece of artwork and wonderful to involve clients at each stage of the commission, from initial ideas and drafts, through to the final piece. Commissions can be pure calligraphy or include illustration if desired.
Everyone is welcome to visit me by appointment at my studio in Abberley but when this isn't possible, the design process works smoothly via email. I have had clients from all over the UK and international clients too.

TEACHING CALLIGRAPHY
I love sharing and encouraging others to learn this fascinating and relaxing skill. I teach regular classes in Kidderminster and workshops for many Calligraphy Societies such as The Marches Scribes, Shropshire Scribes, North West Calligraphy Arts, Gloucestershire Lettering Arts, and, and...
I am happy to teach small groups at the Pigsty Studio or in other local venues depending upon demand.
