I began to take watercolour classes at our local college when I took early retirement in 2000. I have since developed my art to include acrylics, pastels, coloured pencils and more recently oils which I love. It has taken me twenty years to reach the standard I am at today. This has taken many lessons, workshops and painting holidays to achieve this. I am purely a leisure painter, however, I regularly exhibit my work, and sell, at a local gallery, and through the two art societies to which I belong. I love to paint en plein air whenever I get a chance.
