A painter and multi award winning textile artist, mark making is my passion. The possibilities for creating something exciting using just a few considered stitches, pencil lines, or free flowing swishes from a paint brush, are endless.
Having a keen interest in the world around me, inspiration for my work is often derived from direct observations made when out and about. Rather than aiming to create a realistic representation of a place or object I try to convey its essential nature through the intuitive use of shape, colour, texture and innovative techniques.
