I paint to express my passion for the natural history world. Birds and sometimes animals feature either as portrait or a feature of a larger landscape. Watercolour is typically my favourite medium but I also enjoy oils and love to work plein air on canvas panels which are then completed in the studio with necessary detail taking care to keep the character of the painting. I work to commissions and enjoy holding watercolour workshops in my studio for up to 4 artists one Saturday every month on a particular theme.
