I am an artist who discovered a passion for art, and painting in retirement. I work primarily with oil paints often blended with cold wax to enable me to layer paint wet on wet to create depth and translucence. I work on a variety of different surfaces, paper, boards and canvas. My style is abstract impressionist and I am particularly drawn to creating impressions of landscapes and seascapes with a strong emphasis on dramatic skies.
