l am a Ceramicist currently working with porcelain. This clay can be a challenge but its qualities far outweigh the difficulties. I have been working with porcelain for over 10 years now, it gives my items a purity of form and fine delicacy. It provides a malleable canvas for texture which I can enhance with colour. Clay gives me the facility for self expression. I like to allow the material to help determine the direction of form. Thus my ceramics are personal and can remind me of place, mood and my interaction with people.
