My Creative process is often a spontaneous need to express something I feel emotionally or mentally or that I see in nature or the culture around me. I love beauty so flowers and gardens are big inspirational factors. I enjoy painting people's portraits trying to reveal their inner unique qualities and find the human condition ,and the often times, tragic comedy of life a great source of inspiration in all its 'good, bad and ugly reality. Sometimes my paintings are just my happy place of imagined fantasy. Art is so personal, a meditation and sometimes therapy - better out than kind of thing. When someone gets it and says "that's how they feel sometimes" or it gives them a heart pull then I'm thrilled to see one of my pieces go to the right home to hopefully bring life long pleasure or meaning. Cards and prints are available of my originals and new ai digital art and photographs. Commissions taken sometimes. I also make rose products and beads which I turn into unique jewellery pieces. Collage statues are dotted around. My home is a colourful place of art and so is my personal home gallery really. Commercial Galleries seem to like one kind of style but my gallery likes lots of variation. I'd get bored otherwise.
