I love watercolours, oils, coloured pencil and graphite, and like to work with depth and intensity in all these mediums. My inspiration is William Morris and the Arts and Crafts Movement for colour and design.
My work is precise and detailed and I like to translate botanical and architectural subjects into stylised contemporary designs. One such design won a Children in Need competition sponsored by Moorcroft and was produced as a one off vase by the company and auctioned for charity. Another of my paintings won the watercolour prize at the Stratford Upon Avon art exhibition last year.
I enjoy teaching botanical watercolour and coloured pencils and during the Worcestershire Open I will be demonstrating at Caldewell House near Pershore as well as selling original paintings, framed and unframed, prints and cards.
