My passion for architecture has been with me for as long as I can remember, watching my father (a draughtsman) at his drawing board. I studied technical drawing at school (the only girl in the class) and as a result I am at ease with angles required for creating structures. I then play with the colour I see resulting in bold and intense paintings. I generally just paint my subject matter leaving its landscape in mono ink, drawing the eye and the mind to complete. I am often asked do you use a ruler for your work? The answer is no, never use a ruler, it will flatten your work!
