I am a linocut and letterpress printer, making prints for exhibition and illustration, and books and booklets which are printed letterpress after I have cast the metal type on my Ludlow Typograph machine. I have a go at binding in a small way. Had I not been given the caster and press some years ago I should have continued to use the services of other letterpress printers but this is an exciting pastime. During Open Studios visitors can see type being cast, have a (supervised) go themselves, and print the results on my proofing press.
