I am a fine furniture designer and maker working mainly with wood. I work to my clients specification to create beautiful and functional pieces of high quality furniture.
As a designer maker, I enjoy celebrating the beauty of the timber through the design. Timber is naturally beautiful, with so much variation in the grain, colour and texture available, I love to use this to my advantage.
I also enjoy exposing the high quality joinery used in each piece. It is essential in the construction, so why not make it a feature!
I often find myself inspired by shapes, forms, colours and ideas I have seen around me and enjoy tying these into my designs.
