Greetings. I've been involved in Arts and Crafts on many levels since my twenties and especially thrown myself into painting in the last 20 years with some jewellery making using rose beads, delicious rose products from my garden roses and crafts like mask and shrine making etc thrown in. I've had several solo and group exhibitions over the last 15 years and done several successful arts trails and open studios. I love being spontaneous in my art being inspired by nature, people and life which is often enhanced by travels or just being in my secret garden. I use many mediums like acrylics, collage, oils and love mixing it up sometimes to create interesting textural effects. My paintings are colourful, energetic with varied styles as I love to explore different expressions and subjects from flowers, portraits, still life, the human condition, landscapes, what's going on in this crazy wonderful world or just pure inner imaginings - art from the heart. My house is open as a gallery in WOS and you can browse at your leisure and have a cuppa in the back rustic garden. I do commissions and workshops.
