I take inspiration from all aspects of the natural world around me. I like to capture a bit of drama and interest in the painting, often a bit of humour, an unusual situation which made me smile. Maybe animal or bird. I love large panoramas, big landscapes usually with creatures included . I am fascinated as an artist taking a flat piece of paper and creating light and a sense of distance within it.
