I am an artist living and working in Bromsgrove. My work is inspired by the ever-evolving, temporal landscape and built environment, both urban and rural. Specializing in watercolours, mixed media and collage medium, my art is a series of visual interpretations on a variety of subject matters & special interest theoretical studies, inspired by my architectural studies. I enjoy painting the local Worcestershire landscape and this inspires me to paint from imagination and memories.
Being creative and artistic has been a passion of mine from a very young age. I was privileged to be introduced to oil painting at junior school and loved it from the start. I knew as a youngster that creativity was my future. I attended art collage after leaving school and then went on to study a degree in 3-D design/Interior design. I then went on to study Architecture part time and qualified in 2009. My post graduate diploma theoretical project ‘Seaside Rendez-Vous’ received a commendation and and won the Kinetic Innovation Post graduate Architecture student prize. I am currently studying for an MA in Art & Design: Interdisciplinary Practices at Birmingham City University.
