As a Worcestershire” born and bred “ artist , the area has been a massive influence on my life and work.
I was born in Claines, school and college in Worcester and became an apprentice ceramic artist at the Royal Worcester Porcelain Factory. I left to pursue a freelance career as a full time artist in 1980. I have sold my paintings, prints and porcelain all over the world for more than 40 years. I have lived in Bevere ,Fernhill Heath, Barbourne and now in Upton upon Severn. Much of my painting is inspired by the stunning Worcestershire countryside, it’s landscape ,wildlife and people. The Malverns, the river Severn and the surrounding villages, feature prominently in my work . I have also painted and worked in the Greek Islands and Tuscany,
so there is also a Mediterranean influence as well ! My garden studio and showroom in Holly Green, has all my paintings, porcelain and prints on display. Come along and take a look at my new work in progress and see my sketch books and drawings .
