Inspired by unharnessed and spirited landscapes I aim to create dynamic paintings that connect with our experiences of the wild outdoors.
As a full time artist I love my working studio! An old coach house, it's filled with a plentiful array of materials, tools and art works. You will see my work displayed all around the walls of my studio and in a little gallery area, at one end of the studio. I work in a range of sizes, mostly on wood panels using oils and acrylics to create expressive and abstracted landscapes and I mostly frame my own work, so my studio is a hive of activity.
I also have a large painting wall where you'll see the stages of my work in progress and I'll have some small pieces on the go throughout the weekend to demonstrate a little about my process. You can thumb through my sketch books, view completed work and plein air sketches, check out my materials and tools, and of course there is always time to chat about all things arty!

Most of my current work can be viewed on my website, however I often have more work in my studio so you're always welcome to arrange a studio visit.
