Sara Chandler

The natural world and colour are my best friends. I use both to inspire my painting and drawing. My oil paintings are compositionally driven by tonal and/or colour masses which place them somewhere between realism and semi-abstraction. My drawings range from traditional studies of the human form, local scenes and still life to larger pieces that are more abstracted and often involve mixed media. My studio will have finished work for sale and work in progress. It sits in about an acre of garden and you are welcome to wander around; there are plenty of places to sit...and draw.
