Although I have explored various creative practices over the years from Ceramics, which I studied at De Montfort University, to illustration and abstract drawing, I am currently working predominantly in paint on canvas, and participating in the international Turps correspondence course in order to deepen my fine art painting practice. I recently exhibited one of the paintings from my current series, at Fitzrovia Gallery, London, with some of my Turps school cohort.
There will be examples of some of my explorations with other media, but my hope is that you will find me working at a canvas, and enjoy seeing a range of completed work as well as work-in-progress, that are all part of my artistic journey.
Feel free to ask any questions about my practice, influences or inspirations, and/or enquire about commissions (portraits or otherwise) and potential future workshops or private tuition which I plan to initiate soon from our city center based based Studio, working as a member of the newly formed ‘Worcester Arts Collective’ (WAC).
WAC are excited to open up our studio spaces to the public as part of Worcester
Open Studios 2023 at No4 Edgar Street. We are a community interest company (CIC)
made up of artists and makers who promote visual arts and creativity in all its forms
through our projects, exhibitions and spaces. The studios are in a Worcester City
Centre location close to local amenities. As we are in a listed building, wheelchair access is not possible.
The individual studios are on upper levels within the building with stair only access.
