I am a full-time artist mainly painting in acrylics, inks and imitation gold leaf. I am constantly looking at different techniques and developing my skills whether I am painting a landscape, flowers or figures. My current paintings are local landscapes, (Malvern hills, Cotswolds), meadows of flowers and women of myths. These pieces are often a blend of abstraction and traditional brushstrokes, texture and washes. I want to draw the viewer into my painting, to reconnect to a memory or feel the atmosphere of a place . The last summer's walk through a meadow or a place that reminds you of home.

During this year's Open Studio event I will have many different sizes of paintings available, a few extra large for a 'statement pieces' and demonstrations of my techniques will be on show.I will also have a few pieces of pottery available as I have been reconnecting with clay after many years.
My work is sold through galleries, events, shops, social media, exhibitions and Open Studios each year and I look forward to welcoming you again .My work will be shown in my garden studio and in the garden . A cuppa of tea , biscuits and a cuddle from the cat awaits you!
