I love working in silver and exploring the way it responds to heat and texturing and the way the light plays on the changed surfaces. My background as an archaeologist, specialising in prehistoric rock art, the marks left on stone by our ancestors, has been a huge inspiration to me with my travels taking me to many sites in Wales, as director of the Welsh Rock Art Organisation. I have also been lucky enough to work on sites in Italy, Spain, Portugal and more, the style and age of carvings differ but fuel a passion that runs through my jewellery.
