I have painted for years, but during lockdown I took up pastels, and have finally found my medium!
I paint mostly landscapes and strive to capture colour and light.
I take inspiration from my surroundings and places I have visited. I work mainly from photographs, as I find taking several quick snaps of a view enables me to capture different aspects of the quality of the light.
My work is always in response to the light in the landscape and is mainly semi abstract.
