I now paint to celebrate and preserve what I find beautiful: nature, flowers, loved objects and memorabilia, historical patterns and decoration, field patterns, atmospheric ruins and things made over centuries past.
I work in mixed media, sometimes using collage material, mainly of my own make, to create images which reflect these interests.
My present work is abstract or semi abstract, though my past commissions have mainly been landscapes and pet portraits.
Poems and narratives occur to me which sometimes become my small handmade books.
I am exhibiting in Trudi Foggo’s Artists’ Garden in Great Malvern, with a number of other artists.
