Birds, flowers, animals, people, household objects, vast vistas - the world is full of things I would like to paint, draw or sculpt. Working in my studio, with doors out to a courtyard full of plants, I produce large, colourful pieces using a range of media including soft pastels, as well as oil or acrylic paint and often incorporating elements of collage to provide added texture and interest.
As a passionate believer in the power of art I have recently, with fellow artists, Anna Cumming and Gemma Griffiths taken over the voluntary organisation of Worcestershire Open Studios and am busy working with them to grow our artistic community and showcase the talent in our County.
